Salutations good folk,

First of all, a belated Happy New Year! I hope 2012 saw you all well and 2013 sees you even better.

IRL:

Study, study, study and nothing. My marks weren't great for last semester due to stress, frekaing out, nasty lecturer and findong out I have to an extra year of study to fufill a completely arbitrary requirement to graduate. Something it would have been nicer to know sooner. >.> So unfortunately  instead of graduating I have another year to go. I can't chang eit now anyway.
In other news, it's my third wedding anniversary today <3

Photography:

Well it has been a while. My studies took over the last half of 2012 for me so not much progress here, though i have only a year to go to finish my degree. During that time (the units are going to be easier) I am going to focus more on my photography than I have been. Having my stepson move out, I will be converting the now spare bedroom into a photography studio which is scary and daunting but so worth it. Real portrait work come at me! :3 I also got a new camersa, my first DSLR. It's a Nikon 3100 with one lens (standard 18-55mm). I have been playing with it and learning the settings this afternoon and it is so good. I am so excited about getting out there seeing it get some use!

Miscellaneous:
I have also begun cross stitching again, like I used to when I was much younger. I am currently working on a Game of Thrones banner based on the designs here: I have other grand plans on making a Pokemon Patch work quilt and converting images to patterns myself for that, but that will be a much larger project.

Waicon (2nd- 3rd February) I have VIP tickets and hotel all booked.
Colour Run Perth (17th February)
Oz Comicon (Inaugural event for Perth- 9th-10th March)
Supanova Perth (28th- 30th June)
Supanova Brisbane ( 8th-10th November- depending on finances)

...and anything else that may happen.
